The Triptyc of the Hermits is back to Venice: it is one of the three polyptychs by Jeronimus Bosch belonging to the collections of the Gallerie dell'Accademia. The dutch painter masterpiece will be on show from Wednesday 18 May 2016,at Gallerie dell'Accademia, for the first time in Italy after it has been restored.
The Triptyc was displayed also in Jheronimus Bosch - Visions of a genius, the retrospective which was organised in Den Bosch on the occasion of the 500 years after his dead, together with two other works belonging to the Gallerie dell'Accademia (the only italian museum with Bosch works, being among the lenders of this big event exhibition): the Triptyc of Santa Liberata anche the Four Visions of the Afterlife. The exhibition is now on display in Spain, then also Santa Liberata and the Visions will be back to Venice; frm the second half of september, the three Bosch paintings will be then on show together in Venice for the first time after the repairs which brought them to a condition of particular brightness and vividness.
